China's Market of New Tobacco Products and Its Development Trend

In the context of rapid growth of new tobacco products globally, China's new tobacco products are also booming. Up till now, e-vapor products still account for the main part of China's market. Heat-not-burn tobacco products are still banned in China. The market is not yet open, meaning exports only. However, as the FDA cleared IQOS into the US market in April, it is expected to have a positive influence on the research and development of heated tobacco products in China, and to stimulate its making of related policies and regulations.
